• A common problem that exists with all "closed casing" blast gates for dust extraction, is that fine wood particles pack into the lower internal cavities, diminishing the blast gate's ability to seal properly and as a result reducing the efficiency of your system over time
• This is very prevalent when stationary sanding machines or power sanders are fed into the system, due to the very fine particulate being extracted
• It is difficult and time consuming to remove this debris 
• This style of 63mm (2½") Aluminium Blast Gate continually cleans itself out each time it is closed fully, eliminating the problem
