Sanding Rolls & Abrasive Strips

Continuous sanding rolls and narrow abrasive strips are cut to length for sanding blocks, lathe turning and hand sanding irregular shapes.  Keep a roll on hand for custom‑size abrasives.

What are sanding rolls and abrasive strips typically used for?
They’re versatile abrasives that can be cut to length for hand-sanding, block-sanding, or wrapping around tools and dowels. They’re ideal for smoothing flat areas, edges, and even curved or irregular surfaces.

What’s the advantage of using sanding rolls over pre-cut sheets?
Sanding rolls allow you to cut exactly the size you need, reducing waste and ensuring a snug fit on sanding blocks or for detailed work. They’re also more convenient for continuous jobs where you need longer strips.

How do I store sanding rolls and strips to keep them in good condition?
Keep them in a dry place, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Roll them loosely or store them in their original packaging to prevent creases or cracking of the abrasive backing.
