Low Hydrogen E7018-1; AWS A5.1. E7018-1; DIN 1913 E51 55 B10; SABA 455 E5118/-4427H

  • Matweld E7018-1 is a basic coated hydrogen controlled electrode designed for welding in all positions
  • Has a low spatter and excellent re-strike characteristics
  • The weld has an excellent bead profile and appearance and the slag is easily detached
  • Used to weld C-Mn and low alloy steels requiring X-ray examination
  • Matweld E70018-1 requires a minimum AC open circuit voltage of 70 volts and must be baked at 180°C (350°F) for 2 hours prior to use
