The AXT 25 TC is the high-performance, impressively quiet garden shredder for turning garden waste into nutrient-rich clippings in no time. A powerful, brushless 2,500-watt induction motor and unique Turbine Cut Technology combine to shred branches up to 45mm thick ,tough thorny shrubs, and leafy garden waste. The automated fast-feed hopper grabs the branches and pulls them into the cutting system, whilst the practical prodder enables the safe guiding of softer materials and is particularly useful when handling thorny branches.

The collection box capacity is a generous 53 litres, meaning fewer emptying trips to the compost heap. The shredded clippings take up less space in a green waste bin and make excellent compost or mulch. For easy and compact storage, the hopper is conveniently stored in the collection box, so that the shredder stands at just 67cm tall.

I am loving what this shredder is capable of shredding

I am loving what this shredder is capable of shredding. Very powerful and not noisy.The self-feeder works very well. This shredder works best for dry or woodier branches and garden refuse. Softer/greener refuse and leaves tend to clog the turbine cutter.

My only problem is with the power cable. The shredder comes without a power cable. I bought an outdoor electrical cable, but it does not fit the shredder's plug well. This causes the shredder to sometimes disconnect from the cable when it is processing thicker branches. Since it is impossible to take the shredder to a shop to check whether the cable will fit well or not, it is a bit of a frustration when you are excited about shredding your refuse and you are struggling to connect your shredder to electricity. It would be great if a recommended power cable make could be advised with this machine to simplify the process when you receive your shedder.

All in all I would definitely buy this shredder again!

Excellent garden machine

The Bosch Shredder AXT 25 T is an excellent appliance. Within the first week the machine shredded a number of 2 meter high heaps of garden plant material. And there are still many weeks of work ahead. The machine is very effective for stems, dry or green, of less than 30 mm in diameter. We cut out the thicker parts and use it for fire to heat our home. The shredded material goes straight back into the garden as a ground cover between the scrubs and trees. This shredder is more expensive compared to other shredders we owned before, but it is superior in design and processing material.
