Highly efficient sanding with high comfort
Comfortable sanding and a high removal rate for larger flat surfaces
I'm leaving this review before I've even received the product and I'll tell you why...
I bought one of these back in 2018 to refurbish a timber floor of an apartment.
It got the job done really well.
One major advantage I found is that because the right side of the unit is square with the bottom (belt), it was possible to get very close to the wall/skirting edge. This feature proved itself useful in many situations thereafter.
From 2018-2023 I used this tool very often, in a variety of ways, and even made a jig for it to turn it into a belt sanding station.
But alas, last month my Bosch 75A was stolen from my workshop by a fence hopper (or should i say, gate mover?).
All I can say is, this tool had never let me down in all sorts of conditions (making furniture, general repairs, refurbs) and we had a good run while it lasted.
I'm buying it again from toolcraft because honestly i dont see the need for an "upgrade".
I do not hesitate recommending this product as it has proven itself to be fantastic value for money. Definitely a great option for a first time buyer looking for longevity and quality in a tool.
I'd say the only downside to it is that the stock standard dust trap doesn't really work too well - but then again, do any of them?
To me this is no big deal to me since i wear a mask when sanding and it is possible to plug a vacuum cleaner into the unit while sanding.
(BPM toolcraft, do you think you can stock some Carbide sanding disks for orbital?)
