Single Wonder Pup

The Veritas Wonder Pups are incredibly useful workpiece control devices, made especially for benchtops that are  2" (50mm) thick or less. They mount in 3/4" drilled holes to provide the moving half of a standard bench dog system without the need for a tail vise.

Together with Veritas Round Bench Pups, they are perfect for retro-fitting into benches built without dogs. They can also be used in multi-directional, multi-dog holding systems (they pivot in any direction), shop-built wooden clamps, and holding or shaping jigs.

The post is 2-5/8" long and the brass clamp face is 3/4" high. Instead of the spring steel wire that is utilised on the Wonder Dogs to hold them in place, The Wonder Pups feature a moveable "O" Ring to keep them from slipping, in any thickness workbench top. The screw angles downward 2º for secure grip.
