Ovolo & Rounding Over Bit

Ovolo router bit sampleThe ovolo and rounding over router bit has several other names in the industry. Sometimes referred to a plunge/groove beading bit.

Flush trim profileCreate a flat bottom groove in between two quarter-round shapes. Cutting a bit deeper lend extra depth to the appearance. Depending on the depth of cut, the rounding over radii can be flush with the surface or it can allow for a fillet (recessed).

Using an edge guide, beadings and round-over shapes can be achieved on the edges of a workpiece.

This router bit has a 6,35mm shank (shaft) that will fit most small or large routers. Please ensure that you select a router bit with a shank (shaft) size that will fit into your router collet.
