These butt chisels from the makers of the world’s finest carving tools feature the same high quality and craftsmanship as that found in all our Swiss carving tools. Butt chisels are easier and more controllable to use for joinery than full-sized bench chisels. When you’re trying to hold your chisel exactly on a line and perfectly vertical while you strike it, you will love using these shorter chisels.

Faceted, contoured European locust handles fit the hand comfortably but prevent the chisels from rolling off your bench. Blades are made of Swiss alloy tool steel and heat treated using the latest technology for excellent edge holding. Chisels are ground and polished from the maker. Overall length is 6″. Blade length 3-3/8″. Chisel is 25mm, approximately 1″ wide.
