What’s the difference between staples, brads, and nails in fastening tools?
Staples have two prongs and are great for securing materials like fabric, plastic sheeting, or light wood. Brads are thin, headless nails used for trim and moulding, offering a discreet finish. Nails are heavier-duty fasteners for structural work.

Can one staple gun use both staples and brads?
Some versatile models can handle both, but many are designed for one type only. Always check the manufacturer’s specifications to avoid damaging the tool or using the wrong fasteners.

How can I prevent jams in my staple gun?
Use the correct size and type of staples or brads, keep the loading mechanism clean, and avoid overfilling the magazine. If a jam occurs, disconnect the tool from power (or release the handle tension on manual models) before clearing it.
