Classical Ogee Bit

Classical ogee router bit sampleThe classical ogee profile router bit is designed for creating decorative mouldings or edge profiles. This cutter allows one to shape a convex and concave shape with a bead in the middle of the two curves.

Picture framers love this design in combination with our classical bit range (KP3401 and KP3403).

Classical ogee profile example 

An extra bead over the bottom corner is possible when replacing the guide bearing with a smaller size (KP100 3-8).

Change the guide bearing size

This router bit has a 6.35 mm shank (shaft) that will fit most small or large routers with the right collet. Please ensure that you select a router bit with a shank (shaft) size that will fit into your router collet.

An excellent quality cutter ! I had to restore an old furniture piece

An excellent quality cutter !
I had to restore an old furniture piece. The standard roman ogee router cutter didn't have the precise cutting dimensions to restore bad previous restoration. Free hand sanding damaged and altered the edge of the tabletop completely . An after photo is available
