250g Blonde Dewaxed Shellac

Blonde Dewaxed Shellac Flakes are used to produce a transparent, brown-coloured French Polish which is often used in antique restoration or the bespoke production of furniture. Easy to use, it is ideal for use on lighter coloured woods.

Usage

Application

• Add 250g of Blonde Dewaxed Shellac Flakes to 1l of methylated spirit and allow the shellac flakes to soak for a minimum of 24 hours, or until all the shellac flakes have dissolved
• Stir or shake occasionally to help the shellac flakes to dissolve more easily
• More shellac flakes or methylated spirit may be added to adjust the strength to your personal preference
