Lawn Trimmers

Lawn trimmers (string trimmers) tidy edges along fences, walls and flower beds.  Electric, cordless and petrol models reach areas that lawnmowers can’t.  Auto‑feed spools and bump‑feed heads make line replacement easy.

What are lawn trimmers used for?
Lawn trimmers (also called grass trimmers or strimmers) are designed for cutting grass and weeds in areas a lawnmower can’t reach, such as edges, around trees, fences, and garden beds.

What types of lawn trimmers are available?

  • Electric corded trimmers – lightweight and best for small gardens.

  • Cordless (battery) trimmers – portable, quiet, and good for medium gardens.

  • Petrol trimmers – powerful and suited for large gardens or heavy-duty cutting, including thick weeds and brush.

How do I maintain a lawn trimmer for best performance?
Keep the cutting line or blade sharp and properly loaded, clean debris from the head after use, and check guards and handles are secure. For petrol models, maintain fuel, spark plugs, and air filters as per the manufacturer’s instructions.
