Laser Levels

Laser levels project straight lines or dots across a room or job site for accurate alignment.  Self‑levelling mechanisms ensure the beam is level, and rotating lasers cover large areas.  Use them to install cabinets, lay tiles and frame walls.

What advantages do laser levels have over traditional spirit levels?
Laser levels project a visible beam across walls, floors, or ceilings, allowing you to align multiple points over a distance. Unlike spirit levels, they make it easy to maintain accuracy across entire rooms or large surfaces.

Do I need to calibrate my laser level?
Yes. Most quality laser levels are factory-calibrated, but they should be checked regularly, especially if dropped or used frequently on-site. Many models have a built-in calibration check or self-leveling feature.

Can laser levels be used outdoors?
They can, but visibility depends on the brightness of the laser and surrounding light. For outdoor use, a green-beam laser or a laser detector/receiver is recommended to maintain accuracy in sunlight.
