Kakuri, founded in 1946 in Niigata (Sanjo), Japan, specializes in traditional Japanese hand tools designed for workshops—such as Ryoba, Dozuki, keyhole, pruning, and folding saws; hand planes; chisels; carving knives; and hammers. Every tool is manufactured in Japan from high-carbon steel with precision impulse hardening techniques.

What sets Kakuri saws apart in woodworking performance and style?

Kakuri saws cut using the pull stroke, enabling a thinner kerf, reduced fatigue, and greater control compared to Western push-style saws.
