Product Description

Crown Drive

  • This crown drive is a must for oval turning, off centre with positive engagement from the saw-cut forward facing spurs
  • Similar to a steb centre in function, it is recommended for production turning allowing you to change out pieces with the lathe still running
  • Fit new blank against the sprung cone centre and bring up live centre in tailstock against it, release your grip on the blank as you take up the slack on tailstock wheel
  • The piece begins to spin
  • Release and catch piece when turned and sanded to profile
