Modern cordless angle grinders with high-capacity batteries (4.0Ah and up) and brushless motors can match the performance of corded tools for many metal cutting, grinding, and surface prep tasks. However, for prolonged, continuous use on very thick material, a corded model or high‑voltage (36V/54V) grinder may still be preferable.
