Fast-Drying Hardwax Oil for Wooden Floors & Interior Wood
Osmo Polyx®-Oil Rapid offers the same trusted durability and natural finish as Polyx®-Oil Original — but with significantly reduced drying times.
Developed for professional installers and time-sensitive projects, Polyx®-Oil Rapid allows faster recoating while maintaining the same hardwearing, microporous protection Osmo is known for.
Based on natural plant oils and waxes, it penetrates deeply into the wood and forms a breathable surface that will not crack, peel or flake. The finish enhances the natural beauty of the timber while providing excellent resistance to everyday wear.
Ideal for solid wood floors, engineered flooring, staircases and interior joinery where faster turnaround is required.
Key Advantage: Faster Drying Time
-
Drying time: Approx. 4–5 hours between coats
-
Compared to Polyx®-Oil Original: 8–10 hours between coats
This allows two coats to be completed within a shorter working window, making it ideal for commercial installations or residential projects where downtime must be minimised.
