Application

  • An auger handle/rod is placed through the eye and the auger is turned by hand to bore
  • For boring a wide range of holes in hardwoods in a variety of locations, especially when electrical power is unavailable

How it works

  • A branch or dowel is inserted in the eye of the auger to become the handle to turn the auger drill bit by hand
  • The handle is not included
  • The pilot guide is threaded to "pull" the drill bit into the wood
  • The cutting edge forms part of the auger helix to assist the drill bit with the removal of shavings
