Air Fittings

Air fittings connect hoses, tools and compressors.  Quick‑disconnect couplers allow rapid tool changes, while swivel fittings prevent hose kinking.  Choose the correct thread size and type for a leak‑free system.

What are air fittings used for?
Air fittings connect hoses, tools, and compressors in a pneumatic system, ensuring a secure, leak-free flow of compressed air. They make it easy to attach and switch between different air tools.

Are all air fittings universal?
No. Air fittings come in different styles (such as PCL, Euro, or Nitto), sizes, and thread types (BSP, NPT, etc.). It’s important to match fittings to your compressor, hoses, and tools for proper compatibility.

How do I prevent air leaks in my pneumatic system?
Use high-quality fittings, ensure they’re tightened correctly, and apply thread sealant or PTFE tape on threaded connections. Regularly check for wear or damage, as even small leaks reduce efficiency and increase compressor workload.
