Dubuque Clampworks Miro Moose Handscrew Clamp 4" Wood, Adjustable

  • R 329.90

The Dubuque Clampwork's range of Classic Miro Moose Wooden Handscrew Clamps are beautifully made with straight-grained hard maple jaws, cold drawn steel screws & nuts, and hard maple handles protected by heavy steel ferrules.

Handscrew Clamps have been around for over 120 years with the first patent being the original Jorgensen design. This classic design lets you offset the jaws or  angle the jaws (or both) in whichever way you need to keep the parts you are working on from shifting.

These are absolutely Traditional Wooden Handscrews, and are extremely sought after. Professional luthiers, cabinetmakers and woodworkers worldwide swear by their wooden Handscrews.

Dubuque Clampworks is the last company in the USA making Classic Wooden Handscrew Clamps.

There are numerous other advantages of Wooden Handscrew Clamps. These clamps do not react with tannins in your wood as steel clamps do, leaving hard to remove stains (Especially when working with oak).  They are immensely powerful due to the pivot action of the grip and they are definitely the most versatile of all woodworking clamping devices, enabling you to clamp odd shaped, irregular, circular, offset and straight objects, and can be used to hold a board on edge for jointing on your workbench. They are also great for carvers, on tablesaw jigs such as the Incra I-Box, tenoning jigs, on drill press, as stop blocks or small parts holding devices on your router table, and endless other workshop applications.

The Dubuque Clampworks Handscrews will last your lifetime and will stand up to the rigours of your workshop for many generations.
