35kg Cast Steel Anvil

Designed by legendary Master Bladesmiths Kevin and Heather Harvey, the anvils are cast right here in South Africa. We use a carbon alloy steel custom-designed to produce hard and tough anvils. After hardening and tempering the anvil has a hardness of 52HRC that results in great energy return. In ball-bearing bounce tests, we get over 90% on them.

These anvils are great for blacksmiths, bladesmiths and farriers. A bending fork is built into the side of the anvil making fine-tuning scrolls, blades and horseshoes easy. The hardy hole is just over 20mm and the pritchel hole is 12mm.
