In 1776, when America was still a British Colony and Thomas Chippendale Senior was still accepting commissions for his exquisite furniture, another Yorkshire born Thomas - Thomas Sanderson of Attercliffe near Sheffield, set about making the first ever Pax handsaw.
  • The Pax Veneer Saw is made to enable cuts to be started in the centre of a panel of wood and for other inlaying work
  • The saw has 15tpi and the two different sides of the blade are made so that one side has a crosscut tooth formation and the other side has a rip tooth formation
  • The saw has a Walnut handle and are individually blister packed
  • Blade length 3"
